The previous of my story is
My English Tour

Ladies and Gentlemen, today, I am very delighted to tell you a story about learning English, my personal experience.I named it My English Tour..

Firstly, I want to give my special thank to our distinguished and respected teacher, Mr.David. In my own opinion, he is perseverant and indefatigable, outgoing and responsible, lively and lovely, strict and approachable, selfless and generous, many many merits I can count here.

Secondly, my thank is for all administrators of NCE 1. It would be impossible to run NCE 1 remarkably and infusively without the help and work from them. To this end, I must point out that they have been devoting their time to the room since it began. That is a real Spirit of Leifeng.

Thirdly, I give my praising words to all members registered or unregistered in NCE 1. They are studying diligently and eagerly in a very good atmosphere created by themselves, we know the worth of a room, in a long run, is the worth of the indivuduals composing it. Undoubtedly, NCE 1 is one of the most amazing rooms I have ever visited..

My beginning to learn English can go back to 20 years ago, when I was in kindergarten. A group of people consisted of white and black from England(I didn’t know where they came from at the time, I thought, probably, they came from Planet Pandora.) visited our kindergarten, they spoke a very strange language I could not understand at all. I was so curous of that they could  speak such different language. Later, I asked our teacher what language they spoke, she told me that is English. Since then,, I made up my mind I would learn to speak that verbal skill.

When I came back home, I asked my parents where I could learn English. They asked me whether I was serious to learn it. Of course I was I answered. They said it was a good thing if I could determine to grasp a kind of foreign languanges. They went to register a training class for me and bought me some books and tapes. I was so happy when I got these learning stuff. I told my buddies I would learn English. They said they would take part in that class too.

On the first of June, 1989, International Children’s Day, the first time I went to an English class in a training center. My friends niuniu and wawa joined the class as well. But it was a big surprise for me that I found learning English was uneasy. Our teacher(a lady who had been abroad for more than 7 years) told us confidence, persistence, interest and enthusiasm were very important. Once you decided you wanted to learn English, it would be with you through your whole life.
