英语口语一直以来是我无法攻克的难题，买了许多英文学习方面的书，但效果总是没有那么好。 偶然在书店里发现了一本小书，里面的表达方式非常实用，而且整本书图文并茂，读起来一点都不累，特别推荐给大家。
《别怕！我是搭讪英文书》 时间：2004年10月地点：UC Riverside校园 Crisanne可以说是当年我在UCR（洛加大河滨分校）求学时遇过的最漂亮的几位美女中的一位。我和她在校园里巧遇，然后马上尾随她到她的教室旁边。我在教室外头边看书边等她下课。为了让她觉得我们的相遇是自然而然的，我假装也刚好经过那个教室才遇到她。我们当时的对话相当有趣。这是一个很好的例子，可以让大家了解到，就算一个女孩子有男朋友了，也不代表你们彼此就不能做朋友。你总会找到好方法，适当展现你的幽默和价值，让女孩重新考虑，愿意把你当成一个真正的朋友。 “Hi. Aren’t you gonna finish this class? ”（你好。你不打算上完这堂课再走吗？） “No, I got something to do so I have to leave earlier.”（不，我还有事，所以得先离开。） “I was in the next classroom for my course. Before I entered my classroom I saw you walking into yours. I thought I would miss the chance to meet you. What a coincidence to meet you again! My name is Jacky.”（我刚才在你旁边的教室上课。我在进教室前看到了你。本来以为没机会认识你了，没想到刚好又遇到你。你好，我叫杰克。） “My name Crisanne.”（你好，我叫葵珊。） “Not at all. His family has been in the States for two generations. They have been perfectly Americanized. ”（一点也没有。他的家族来这里已经有两代了。几乎已经完全美国化了。） “I see. Crisanne, what is your major ? My major is dance history and theory.”（了解。葵珊，你的专业是？我的专业是舞蹈史和舞蹈理论。） “My major is biology. ”（我主修生物学。） “I heard that our school’s biology major is on the top ranking list in the United States. You must be a smart student. Are you going to go to medical school after graduation?”（听说我们学校的生物学在全国是名列前茅的。你想必是个聪明的学生。你毕业后想进医学院吗？） “Yes. I want to become a doctor.”（是的，我未来想当医生。） “Is that because you like cutting people? Haha.”（该不会是因为你喜欢解剖人体吧？） “You are right! I want to be a surgeon .”（你说对了！我就是想当个外科医师。） “Wow, that’s nice. Surgeons do make lots of money, but nowadays they need to be careful of lawsuits filed by the patients.”（哇，真棒！外科医师通常能赚大钱，不过现在他们得小心，病人动不动就跟他们打官司。） “Yes. That’s why I am also thinking of becoming a dentist instead. ”（是啊，所以我也在考虑要不要改念牙科。） “I think there should have been many people saying this to you: Crisanne, you are very beautiful.”（我想应该有很多人这样对你说吧：葵珊，你真漂亮。） “Thank you. There are many gorgeous girls on our campus.”（谢谢。我们学校有很多漂亮的女生啊！） “Where? ”（I looked around as if I was finding cute girls with a curious face, which made herlaugh.）（在哪儿？我故意四处张望，好像在看哪里有美女，夸张的表情逗得她发笑。） “Well, maybe not now.”［she kept smiling.］（啊，好像现在刚好没有美女出没。）［她也笑了出来。］ “There are some cute girls on campus for sure, but, you look like a model... just not that tall.” （学校里有些可爱的女生没错，不过，你看起来就像个模特儿啊只是矮了点。） |
